IT and Operations Specialist
The IT and Ops Specialist plays a leadership role in the development of investment and operational platforms within Itaú U.S.A. Asset Management and works closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to develop scalable and integrated solutions. The position requires experience in project management, vendor management, and software development, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

The IT and Operations Specialist plays a critical leadership role in the further development of investment and operational platforms. This position works closely with executives, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, integrated, and highly effective solutions that align with global and regional strategies.Tasks
- Serves as a strategic owner for the further development of platforms, including defining technology roadmaps, selecting vendors, and prioritizing investments.
- Oversees the execution of projects from start to finish, including governance, risk management, and executive-level reporting.
- Leads cross-functional project teams that deliver improvements to core operational and capital platforms.
- Drives alignment and integration across systems, processes, and strategies across global and local operations.
- Collaborating with business partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Maps, analyzes, and optimizes existing business processes to achieve scalability through automation and the implementation of software-based solutions.
- Contributes to the design and development of software solutions that support asset management systems, with a strong focus on electronic trading and OMS integration (Charles River).
- Promotes continuous process improvement initiatives that focus on scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- A degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and supplier management in complex, regulated environments.
- Experience with software development, automation, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in fast-paced, parallel environments.
- Solid technical background in .NET (C#), SQL Server, and the architecture of complex, enterprise-wide systems.
- Previous experience in capital markets or asset management is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required for collaboration with international teams and external suppliers.
