IT Application Operations Manager, Full-Time (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is looking for an IT Application Operations Manager in Madrid who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT services in accordance with SLAs, as well as for implementations and project contributions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments, ETL tools, and SQL, as well as experience in the financial sector.
Tasks
- Responsible for monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined SLAs. This includes a thorough understanding and careful tracking of all service dependencies, as well as proactive lifecycle management.
- In addition, in collaboration with the software provider:
- Carrying out the implementation and testing of product releases
- Collaborate on project assignments (data migrations, impact analysis)
- Acting team lead for a larger team based primarily in Zurich
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of MS Windows Server environments and ETL tools, MS SQL scripting, and reporting
- Experience with end-of-day processing (AWA), communication between applications, and modern interfaces (APIs, IBM MQ)
- Confident interaction with business partners, systems engineers, database administrators, and external solution providers
- Knowledge of application security and incident, change, and release management processes in large companies in the financial sector
