IT Application Operations Manager, Full-Time (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking an IT Application Operations Manager in Madrid who will be responsible for the end-to-end operation of IT services, the implementation of product releases, and acting as a deputy team leader. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Windows Server, ETL tools, and MS SQL, as well as experience in incident and change management in the financial sector.
Tasks
- Responsible for monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements
- A detailed understanding and careful tracking of all service dependencies
- Proactive Lifecycle Management
- Carrying out the implementation and testing of product releases
- Participation in project assignments (data migrations, impact analyses)
- Role as Deputy Team Lead for a larger team based primarily in Zurich
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MS Windows Server environments and ETL tools, MS SQL, and scripting
- Experience with end-to-day processing (AWA) and communication between application interfaces (APIs, IBM MQ)
- Confident interaction with business partners, systems engineers, database administrators, and external solution providers
- Knowledge of application security aspects as well as incident, change, and release management processes in large companies in the financial sector
