IT Application Support Specialist – 2nd Level Support (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an IT Application Support Specialist for 2nd-level support in a full-time position in Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for application administration, participating in release activities, and supporting batch job scheduling and monitoring.

Tasks

- Manage change requests and ensure that application-related processes are executed properly - Participate in periodic release activities, including weekend deployments - Contribute to projects related to the operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications - Perform routine data cleansing and system maintenance - Driving process optimization and automation of recurring tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center) - Maintaining and updating application operational documentation and the knowledge base - Providing support for batch job scheduling and monitoring (e.g., Automic AWA, Control-M, or similar tools)

Your profiles

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent qualification - Demonstrable experience in application support and/or system administration in complex IT environments - Strong knowledge of Linux; Experience with shell scripts is a plus - Solid knowledge of Windows Server operating systems - Hands-on experience with Java-based application servers, relational databases, and workload automation tools (experience with Automic AWA is a plus) - ITIL Foundation certification (preferred) - Experience with batch job support and scheduling tools such as Automic AWA, Control-M, or equivalent - Professional experience in the banking or financial services industry, including knowledge of financial products, is highly desirable
