IT Application Support Specialist – Second-Level Support

Julius Baer is seeking an IT Application Support Specialist for 2nd-level support to ensure the reliable operation of core banking systems through effective incident management and application support. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of professional experience in application support and knowledge of ServiceNow.

Tasks

- Provide users with guides on ServiceNow processes and help desk procedures. - Ensure the operation of core banking applications with regard to application management (Level 2 support) - Process incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and the local service desk within SLAs - Coordinate and communicate between incident managers, application service owners, Level 3 Support, and other IT/business stakeholders - Perform periodic on-call duty (required 24/7) - Managing change requests for application-related process handling - Participating in periodic weekend releases - Contributing to projects related to operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications - Regular data cleansing of the systems - Process optimization and automation of recurring tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center) - Updating application operations documentation (knowledge base)

Requirements

- Knowledge of ServiceNow specialist/administrator support - Completed IT training (degree in computer science or other IT-related certification) - At least 2 years of professional experience in application support

- Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills - Highly motivated and proactive, with a desire to learn and implement new concepts - Good written and spoken English skills; German is a plus
