What you do

• Lead a team of 4 chapter leads who report directly to you, and a total of 14 indirect reports: 6A engineers at AMB Engineers and 50 external staff based in Belgium and India.
• Lead multiple departments and teams within the Digital First division, creating an environment where people can perform, contribute, and thrive.
• Translate strategic objectives into a clear roadmap and drive a modern release cadence in line with the ambitions of ING Belgium and ING Group.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, simplicity, and continuous improvement.
• Represent your area through a Belgium-based liaison to senior business stakeholders, leading the alignment among IT, business, and domain owners.
• Set the direction by aligning security with the architectural direction and make deliberate, transparent choices for ING.
