The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the management and optimization of IT assets, in particular software licenses, and assists with procurement, software contract negotiations and compliance audits. The role also includes leading process analysis and implementing new processes to improve IT asset management.

IT Asset Manager
The role
- Understanding and practicing key concepts of IT asset management with a focus on software asset management
- Support with procurements, development of new license models, negotiation of software contracts and execution of necessary IT asset management tasks for hardware and software licenses during the entire life cycle
- Taking responsibility for internal and external software audits to ensure compliance and optimization
- Ensuring proper asset reporting, creating dashboards for the IT and controlling function, ensuring all procurement, IT security, risk and compliance procedures are adhered to
- Providing ad hoc administrative support in relation to IT asset management as required
- Leading a process gap analysis to improve ITAM discipline and the implementation of a new process
- Ensuring excellent customer service and teamwork across organizational boundaries
What we wish for
- Experience as an IT asset manager
- Successful experience in the design and implementation of IT asset management processes
- Strong ability to compile and analyze data
- Knowledge of SAM tools and technologies
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral in English)
- Experience of working in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree, higher federal education
