IT auditor

Job description

The position of Internal Auditor (IT & Info Sec) is part of the Group Internal Audit (GIA) team and has primary responsibility for key Julius Baer locations in the Asia region and Zurich.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Planning and performing audit engagements within budget and in accordance with audit standards and methodology
• Ensuring that audit documentation complies with audit standards and internal audit methodology
• Independent assessment of the severity of identified problems and associated risks
• Preparation and finalization of audit reports, including detailed assessment of causes
• Tracking audit issues and independent verification to ensure that appropriate corrective measures have been implemented by management
• Support and contribution to the annual risk assessment and audit planning process
• Effective and collaborative work in interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in audit, risk management, IT and information security or similar areas, preferably in the banking industry
• Experience in one of the following areas is preferred: application and cybersecurity, outsourcing, third-party risks, DevOps, API, cloud computing
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure security and processes
• Strong knowledge of local banking and relevant regulatory authority rules, particularly in Singapore and Hong Kong
• Demonstrable ability to collaborate effectively with others in a dynamic, fast-paced, and geographically dispersed organization
