Job description

The position as IT Auditor at Julius Baer involves conducting audits in the areas of IT and information security. The IT Auditor will be part of a dynamic and highly collaborative team and will be responsible for conducting audits in the Asian branches and in Zurich.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Planning and performing audit engagements within budget and in accordance with audit standards and methods
• Ensuring that audit documentation complies with audit standards and internal audit methodology
• Independent assessment of the severity of identified problems and associated risks
• Preparation and finalization of audit reports, including in-depth assessment of root causes
• Tracking audit issues and conducting independent reviews to ensure that appropriate corrective actions have been implemented by management
• Support and contribution to the annual risk assessment and audit planning process
• Effective and cooperative work in interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent
• At least 10 years of professional experience in auditing, risk management, IT and information security, or similar fields, preferably in the banking industry
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure security and processes
• Knowledge of local banking and regulatory regulations, particularly in Singapore and Hong Kong
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
