IT Data Service Manager

Job Description

The DataOps Service & Governance Engineer position is part of the DataOps team in Geneva. The DataOps team’s mission is to ensure the reliable and efficient management of all data interfaces supported by our data platform.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Coordination of operational activities related to data integration services
• Monitoring and ensuring the smooth operation of business processes
• Development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of documentation and operational procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with IT, production support, and business teams to strengthen governance around data integration processes
• Ensuring the traceability, consolidation, and regular review of key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Preparation for and contribution to regular service inspections and reporting
• Support for incident and problem management from a governance perspective
• Promoting effective communication and coordination between teams

Requirements and qualifications

The requirements include:

• At least 5 years of experience in operational governance, document management, service management, or PMO roles in a data center or IT environment
• Proven experience in managing and monitoring SLAs and SOPs
• Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills
• Experience in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing service quality reports
• Strong understanding of data integration and data platform architectures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
