The DataOps Services department is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a DataOps Service & Governance Engineer. The mission of DataOps Services is to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all data interfaces supported by our data platform. This encompasses a wide range of interfaces, from critical order-processing flows to regulated analytical and reporting systems.Key areas of responsibility
- Coordinate operational activities related to data integration services under the responsibility of the DataOps Team Manager to ensure effective change management, quality assurance, SLA monitoring, and comprehensive SOP documentation. - Monitor and track the smooth operation of business processes, serving as the primary point of contact for SLA-related and process-related issues. - Create, maintain, and continuously improve documentation and operational processes (SOPs) to ensure alignment with internal standards, audit requirements, and applicable regulations. - Work closely with IT, production support, and business teams to strengthen governance around data integration processes and ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and applied consistently. - Ensuring the traceability, consolidation, and regular analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SLAs, operational quality, and service reliability. - Preparing for and contributing to regular service reviews and reporting, highlighting risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Improve internal team processes by gathering stakeholder feedback, identifying weaknesses, and proposing optimizations for SOPs and workflows in collaboration with the line manager. - Support incident and problem management from a governance perspective (e.g., post-incident documentation, lessons learned, follow-up actions). - Promote effective communication and coordination between teams to support operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.Requirements and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in operational governance, document management, service management, or PMO roles in a data-driven environment (e.g., investment, technology, innovation, production support). - Demonstrable experience in managing and monitoring SLAs and SOPs, with the ability to structure, validate, implement, and track processes across multiple stakeholders. - Strong written, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and auditable documentation. - Experience tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing service quality reports, and presenting results to management and stakeholders. - Good understanding of data integration and data platform architectures; knowledge of Kafka, Oracle Scheduler, microservice architectures, and REST-based communications is a plus. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and to foster coordination between teams. - High attention to detail, rigor, and accuracy in managing tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment. - Good command of spoken and written English; French is a plus.We offer
