Leonteq is looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) to develop business applications and services in the area of financial technology. The position is part of the IT development department and involves working on a client-facing platform for pricing and trading functions.

About the role
As a Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to join a young and dynamic company committed to providing value-added services in the field of investment products.
You will be part of the IT Development Department and will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of key business applications and services for our client pricing and trade constructor platform.
Your tasks
- Full-stack software development with a strong focus on maximizing business value
- Close cooperation with business analysts and business partners for requirements gathering
- Participation in regular Scrum activities
- Proactively participate in team-organized efforts for technical platform improvements
- Unit testing and collaboration with the quality assurance team for regression tests
- Work with the business support team to ensure the stability of production systems
Requirements
- Business fluidity in English
- Capacity and flexibility for context change
- Strong professional experience in Scala and functional software development in general
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with relational database systems
- Experience with API design
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Familiarity with agile methods
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of Akka / Cats / FS2 / Kafka / Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins
- Professional experience in the financial industry
- Familiarity with CQRS and event sourcing
