IT Infrastructure Project Lead 100%
The IT Infrastructure Project Lead is responsible for overseeing and improving the IT infrastructure at Julius Baer, in particular the automation of provisioning, scaling, monitoring and patching activities. The position involves leading large-scale projects, managing external vendors and communicating with technical and business stakeholders.

IT Infrastructure Project Lead 100% (contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start until 31.12.2026 with possible extension)Tasks
- Monitoring the automation of provisioning, scaling, monitoring and patch activities
- Maintenance of documentation, runbooks and provision of instructions for development and operations teams
- Continuous improvement of the platform based on feedback, incidents and changing business requirements
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, IT or a related field
- Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (> CHF 1M budget), including full lifecycle management and cloud migration initiatives
- Practical experience with Kubernetes (Ks) platforms such as VMware TKGI (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated), vSphere with Kubernetes (VKS) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS/AK8S)
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure and automation in hybrid environments
- Proven ability to manage third party vendors and deliver complex projects using traditional and agile methodologies
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including financial control, reporting and governance
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with technical and business stakeholders at all levels
- Strong collaboration skills with a talent for stakeholder coordination, relationship management and cross-functional alignment
