Job description

Tasks

• Provide technical support for hardware infrastructure and software applications in end-user environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while advising internal customers across national and international locations
• Manage and resolve tickets as part of incident and service request management processes
• Assist in the preparation of IT equipment according to predefined workplace requirements
• Support with the setup and maintenance of multimedia installations in meeting rooms
• Actively participate in the implementation of employee workplace relocations, mainly in Zurich
• Contribute to hardware lifecycle and inventory management
• Ensure the availability and distribution of IT materials for end users worldwide, including inventory management

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in IT or equivalent training
• Strong experience in IT support, ideally in the financial services industry
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows client environments and Microsoft Office suite - Expertise in Windows 11 and M365
• Knowledge of networks, IP telephony and printing systems
• Familiarity with multimedia systems for presentations and virtual meetings
• Flexibility to work outside regular service hours when required and willingness to travel for short-term support assignments at domestic and international locations
• Service-oriented, analytical and solution-focused mindset with quick adaptability
• Motivated, honest and reliable team player who works independently
• Fluent in German and English; conversational French is a plus
