The IT Operations Expert (m/f/d) is responsible for the monitoring and smooth operation of IT applications and interfaces and provides support in troubleshooting and automating tasks. The focus is on working with Transact (T24) and Automic (UC4) Scheduling under Linux.
Job description
Tasks
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of scheduling jobs
- Automation of tasks wherever possible
- Resolving and closing incidents / service requests from the global IT service desk according to procedures and allocated timeframes
- Initial examinations and diagnoses
- Forwarding of unresolved incidents / service requests within agreed time frames
- Capture relevant incident / service request details according to help desk procedures
- Completion of daily and periodic checklists
- Creation of IT reports (KPIs) for IT management
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
- Knowledge of Transact (T24), Automic (UC4) Scheduling
- Knowledge of JBoss and Oracle is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to create technical support documentation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent written and verbal skills in English, Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours / shifts / weekends if required
- Initiative and team player
