The IT Operations Expert (m/f/d) is responsible for the smooth running of processes and interfaces in the IT area and provides support in resolving incidents and service requests. The focus is on the administration of Transact (T24) and the monitoring of production and test environments.
Job description
Tasks
- Ensuring that processes and interfaces run smoothly
- Implementation and monitoring of the close of business
- Maintenance of production and test environments
- Deployment of artifacts in production and test environments
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of scheduled jobs
- Automation of tasks wherever possible
- Resolving and closing incidents / service requests from the global IT service desk according to procedures and allocated timeframes
- Initial examinations and diagnoses
- Forwarding of unresolved incidents / service requests within agreed time frames
- Capture relevant incident / service request details according to help desk procedures
- Creation of daily and periodic checklists
- Creation of IT reports (KPIs) for IT management
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
- Knowledge of Transact (T24), Automic (UC4) Scheduling
- Knowledge of jBoss and Oracle is considered an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to create technical support documentation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent written and verbal skills in English, Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours / shifts / weekends as required
- Initiative and team player
