Tasks

IT project portfolio management

• Management of the IT Germany project portfolio, including project initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion.
• Definition and prioritization of projects in line with the bank's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establishment of a center of excellence for project management within the IT department, promotion of best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement of project management methods in close cooperation with IT Europe PPM.
• Resource allocation and optimization.

IT project management

• Management and coordination of IT projects.
• Defining and clarifying the scope of the project, including developing a project plan and deliverables (in terms of scope, timeframe, and budget).
• Identification of project requirements, including all necessary resources, team members, involvement of other departments, and project-related risks.
• Ensuring project progress within the timeframe, scope, and budget.

Monitoring of the project schedule, progress, and changes

• Creating schedules and project timelines, avoiding budget overruns, and reporting on project progress.
• Monitoring and documentation of project progress and evaluation of project phases until the end of the results.

Monitoring of project development

• Reporting on the project status.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress (schedule, budget, scope); informing stakeholders.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a degree in computer science or a related field, or comparable training.
