IT Risk and Governance Manager

Tasks

The primary tasks include:

• Work closely with the Information Security function to support the implementation and/or mitigation of cyber risks.
• Collaborate with IT service owners to identify, mitigate, and address IT risks
• Collaborate with IT project managers to identify, mitigate, and address residual risks arising from projects
• Maintaining the IT risk register and working closely with risk owners to identify risks, track and monitor risk plans, review risk treatment proposals, and assist in closing resolved risks
• Provision of risk awareness training for IT staff
• Point of contact for all internal and external audits, support with fieldwork, including reviewing and collecting audit documentation, reviewing audit reports, and providing audit responses
• Tracking audit remediation plans to ensure timely and proper closure of IT audit items
• Communicating technological regulatory changes and collaborating with IT function owners to remediate or mitigate risks/gaps identified through assessments or reviews
• Responsibility for the implementation and quality control of internal IT control plans
• Monitoring of end-of-life technology, patch management, and end-user computing policies and compliance

• Building strong relationships with key position holders

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in IT risk management, preferably in the banking industry; experience in wealth management is an advantage
• Good communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to work in stressful environments
• Independent and self-reliant
• Team player
• Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills
