The IT Risk and Governance Manager is responsible for managing IT risks and regulatory compliance in the Asia region and works closely with various IT functions to promote a strong risk culture. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in IT risk management, strong technical knowledge, and a good understanding of business and IT processes.

IT Risk and Governance ManagerTasks
- Managing operational risks
- Work closely with the Information Security function to support the implementation and/or mitigation of cyber risks.
- Close collaboration with IT service owners to identify, mitigate, and address IT risks
- Close collaboration with IT project managers to identify, mitigate, and address residual risks arising from projects
- Maintenance of the IT risk register
- Provision of risk awareness training for IT staff
- Contact person for all internal and external audits
- Monitoring of audit corrective actions to ensure timely and proper closure of IT audit items
- Cascading technological regulatory changes and collaborating with IT function owners to mitigate or eliminate risks/gaps arising from assessments or reviews
- Responsible for the implementation and quality assurance of internal IT control plans
- Monitoring of end-of-life technology, patch management, and end-user computing policies and compliance
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in IT risk management, preferably in the banking industry
- Strong technical knowledge
- Good understanding of business and IT processes, ITIL certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of the technological regulatory framework in Singapore and Hong Kong
- Familiarity with the technological regulatory framework and guidelines
- Team player
- Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills
