IT Security Engineer – Internet Proxy & Remote Access

Tasks

• Design, implementation, and operation of secure web and remote access infrastructure
• Operation and maintenance of the Enterprise Internet Access Platform (ZIA)
• Administration and support of Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC) as the primary gateway for corporate SSL VPN and access to shared resources (SSO)
• Support for solutions such as Zurich Private Access (ZPA)
• Management of incident response measures for complex disruptions
• Maintaining a comprehensive overview of Internet proxy and remote access solutions
• Collaboration with Information Security in the configuration, evaluation, and testing of system architectures
• Improving system reliability, security posture, performance, observability, and automation

Requirements

• Expertise in ZScaler technologies, particularly ZScaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Private Access (ZPA)
• Technical experience with Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC/Gateway) for SSL VPN and BYVO access
• Understanding of network security fundamentals, firewalls, load balancing, WAF concepts, TLS/SSL/DNS, and routing
• Security engineering knowledge, particularly in the areas of public key infrastructure (PKI), privileged access management (PAM), secure remote management (SRM), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) frameworks
• At least 2-3 years of experience in 2nd and 3rd line engineering or operations roles
• Relevant academic background (e.g., bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field)
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSA, and CISM are advantageous.
