IT Security Officer

Job description

Zuger Kantonalbank is looking for an IT Security Officer. The position is based in Baar and is available immediately on a full-time basis (80–100%).

Tasks

In this role, you will support the CISO in the area of risk management in the creation, maintenance, and implementation of the information security strategy. The bank's security technology must meet the appropriate standards. Together with the front line, you will play an active role in shaping the further development of the bank's security management. You will be a key contact person for security-related issues, manage internal and external partners, and contribute to the stability, resilience, and trustworthiness of the bank.

• Performing an independent second-line compliance function (through collaboration, analysis, documentation of IT and cyber risks, and ensuring the adequacy and effectiveness of controls implemented by the first line)
• Support in the further development of our ISMS (Information Security Management System) (according to ISO 27001)

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of information security, cyber risk management, and IT governance in the financial sector
• Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, e.g., FINMA, DSG, NIS2
• Experience in information security, information risk management, or the security environment
• In-depth knowledge of computer science, business finance, or a comparable technical subject; certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, ISO 27001 are an advantage
• Experience in risk management, particularly in the banking sector and risk assessment
• Demonstrable involvement in risk and control frameworks within the second line
