IT Service Owner – Business Rule Platform 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an IT service owner for its business rule platform who will be responsible for the operational management and further development of the platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, systems engineering, and Actico business rule management, as well as knowledge of containerization technologies and continuous integration.

- Manage the operating model to ensure support levels and distribution of operational tasks
- As part of the operating model, the IT service owner directly ensures third-level support.
- Alignment with providers and infrastructure in relation to the IT service lifecycle (planning and execution)
- Continuous improvement of service availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management
- Responding to risk-related matters such as audits, access rights controls, and annual risk assessments
- Managing risk mitigation measures and technical debt pipeline
- Advising stakeholders on sustainability and operational readiness of delivery and provision of non-functional requirements, their test cases, and responsibility for validation
- Alignment with delivery team and release management for deployments in UAT and production environments
- Actively acts as gatekeeper for every change in IT services, decides with stakeholders on production readiness from an IT perspective (providing go/no-go recommendations)
Your profile
- Education BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of the software development life cycle; Agile certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of system/software engineering in Java
- Expert knowledge in Actico Business Rule Management (modeling, management, and implementation)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Expert in continuous integration and continuous delivery, as well as Harbor and Octopus
- Expert in defining and implementing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle and H2 databases) and SQL, as well as a solid understanding of the Linux operating system
- Expert in Actico platform operation (Model Hub, Execution Server & Workplace)
