IT Service Owner for Market Data Services

Your role

As IT Service Owner for Market Data Services, you are responsible for the comprehensive delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of market data platforms that support front office, trading, risk, and analytics, and deliver compliance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence—directly through the management of licenses, contracts, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment.

Your tasks

• Management of the information platform and market data services
• Ensuring full compliance with market data contracts and license agreements, and providing support during relevant audits
• Administration and maintenance of all market data licenses, subscriptions, and contracts, including pricing, renewal cycles, and usage rights
• Identification and implementation of cost efficiency opportunities in data acquisition, licensing, and use
• Supporting business units in budgeting market data, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost allocation
• Preparation and submission of periodic usage reports to market data providers and stock exchanges, as contractually agreed
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to align market data services with business requirements and strategic priorities

Your profile

• 5+ years of practical experience in market data management and service management, ideally in the banking or financial services sector
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with ITIL service management frameworks
• Ability to weigh problems and set priorities
• Ability to recognize synergies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and a high degree of responsibility
• Willingness to take on responsibility
• Ability to work independently
• Fluent English and German language skills
