Job description

Tasks

• Creation, testing and optimization of xcosoft rules to accurately identify and flag suspicious transactions and potential sanctions violations.
• Regularly assess system performance, identify opportunities for improvement and implement fine-tuning to improve screening accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance and operations teams to ensure seamless integration with existing workflows and provide support for system-related issues.
• Ensuring that the Fircosoft system complies with the relevant international sanctions regulations, Group-wide compliance guidelines and internal procedures.
• Investigating and solving problems with the Fircosoft system, including problems with the filter engine and other system components.
• Ongoing updating of system logs, creation of performance reports and documentation of functional requirements and process flows.
• Update on regulatory changes, new sanctions lists and updates to the Fircosoft platform.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Fircosoft products, including Fircosoft Continuity, Fircosoft and Fircosoft Screen & Resolve.
• Experience with list management, quality assurance and audit trails.
• Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, such as OFAC, UKHMT, EU and UN sanctions lists, and experience with sanctions screening processes.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with databases (Oracle), PKI, SSH, certificates, IP networks, load balancing, firewalls, programming languages (Java, Shell/Perl scripting) and messaging technologies (JMS, MQ, Kafka).
• Ability to analyze data, identify patterns and draw conclusions to improve system performance and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in project planning, implementation and system/user acceptance testing.
