IT System Engineer / Administrator - Fircosoft Platform 100% (m/f/d) (Contract through our external payroll partner for 12 months with possible internalization)Location

Your challenge
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Fircosoft software and related infrastructure, including servers and databases.
- Development, testing, and optimization of Fircosoft rules to accurately detect and flag suspicious transactions and potential sanctions violations.
- Regular evaluation of system performance, identification of potential improvements, and implementation of tuning measures to improve screening accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with IT, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration into existing workflows and provide expert support for system-related incidents.
- Ensuring that Fircosoft's operations comply with international sanctions regulations, group-wide compliance guidelines, and internal procedural standards.
- Investigation and resolution of system problems, including filter engine errors and malfunctions in critical components.
- Maintenance of comprehensive change logs, creation of performance reports, and documentation of functional requirements and process flows.
- Monitoring of evolving regulatory requirements, updates to global sanctions lists, and new releases of the Fircosoft platform.
- Contribution to the improvement of complex IT systems and assumption of a key role in solution design and architecture.
- Application of strong analytical, organizational, and conceptual thinking skills throughout the entire project lifecycle—from project management and system analysis to quality assurance.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science from a university or technical college, with proven experience as a systems engineer/administrator in highly regulated environments.
- Solid understanding of Fircosoft products, including FircoContinuity, FircTrust, and Fircos Screen & Keep.
- Experience with list management, quality assurance, and maintenance of audit trails.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, such as OFAC, HMT, EU, and UN sanctions lists, and practical experience with sanctions screening processes.
- Strong technical skills, including database management (Oracle), PKI, SSH, digital certificates, IP.
