IT System Engineer / Administrator - Fircosoft Platform 100% (m/f/d)

Job description

As an IT system engineer/administrator specializing in Fircosoft sanctions screening solutions, you will be part of the application integration team and responsible for the technical implementation, maintenance, and support of the Fircosoft platform.

Tasks

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Fircosoft software and related infrastructure, including servers and databases.
• Development, testing, and optimization of Fircosoft rules for the accurate detection and flagging of suspicious transactions and possible sanctions violations.
• Regular evaluation of system performance, identification of opportunities for improvement, and implementation of optimization measures to improve test accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration into existing workflows and provide technical support for system-related incidents.
• Ensuring that Fircosoft's operations comply with international sanctions regulations, group-wide compliance guidelines, and internal procedural standards.
• Investigation and resolution of system problems, including filter errors and malfunctions in critical components.
• Maintenance of comprehensive change logs, creation of performance reports, and documentation of functional requirements and process flows.
• Monitoring of evolving regulatory requirements, updates to global sanctions lists, and new versions of the Fircosoft platform.
• Contribution to the improvement of complex IT systems and key role in solution design and architecture discussions.
• Application of strong analytical, organizational, and conceptual thinking skills throughout the project cycle—from project management and system analysis to quality assurance.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science from a university or technical college with proven experience as a systems engineer/administrator in highly regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of Fircosoft products, including Fircocontinuity, Fircotrust, and Fircoscreen & Keep.
• Experience with list management, quality assurance, and maintaining audit logs.
• Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, such as OFAC, HMT, EU, and UN sanctions lists, and practical experience with sanctions screening processes.
• Strong technical skills, including database administration (Oracle), PKI, SSH, digital certificates, IP.
