IT Test Manager (m/f/d)

The IT Test Manager (m/f/d) at Julius Baer is responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting tests, including quality assurance and the creation of test reports. The position requires experience in IT testing, particularly in agile environments, as well as ISTQB certification.

Tasks

  • Planning and preparation of tests
  • Define the test execution plan and ensure the availability of necessary resources.
  • Test preparation as part of the testing process
    • Training needs with users in the team
    • Conduct necessary training for users and other parties
    • Manage test environment and test data requirements
    • Coordinate activities with stakeholders, e.g., for environment and release/change management
    • Design test cases that are tailored to test data requirements
  • test execution
    • Conducting and monitoring ongoing tests, including quality management
    • Run test cases
    • Support UAT with users as soon as they are ready
    • Monitor execution and improve the testing process as needed
    • Perform active incident management with stakeholders (including bug triage meeting)
    • Enforce quality management aspects
  • Preparation of test reports
    • Manage test reports and report test results

    Requirements

    • Successful completion of a degree in computer science in a relevant field and/or at least 5 years of experience in a similar position as a test manager with a focus on IT & finance
    • ISTQB certification (at least Foundation Level)
    • Experience working in agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban
