Java Developer - Regulatory Reporting 100% (f/m/d)

The position of Java Developer - Regulatory Reporting at Julius Baer requires the technical implementation of regulatory reports and ensuring auditability through detailed documentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Java development, particularly in the area of reporting engines and regulatory reporting under MiFID II/MIFIR, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG.

Tasks

  • Translation of requirements into technical implementations
  • Ensuring complete auditability by maintaining detailed, up-to-date documentation of all reporting logic, data flows, and configurations
  • End-to-end delivery of regulatory reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit-compliant documentation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, specializing in building reporting engines and integration with ABM/TR systems
  • Deep understanding of ETL processes and practical experience with data integration tools such as Spring Batch, Apache Camel, or Talend
  • Expertise in regulatory transaction reports under MiFID II/MIFIR, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG regimes
  • Practical experience with Dataiku DSS and Informatica PowerCenter (or equivalent integration platforms)
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and efficient PL/SQL writing for large-scale data processing
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle for automated builds and deployments
  • Ability to collaborate with compliance, business, and stakeholder teams across locations to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German or Italian is a strong advantage
