The position as Java Engineer in the Market Data Platform team involves expanding a multi-petabyte infrastructure that processes billions of data points from thousands of data sources every day. The technology stack includes pipelines, APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, and more.

Requirements

Required qualifications and skills:

• Strong academic background and a degree with a high mathematical and computer science content (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, or physics)
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development with Java or Python as your primary language
• Professional knowledge of Linux platforms and Git
• Experience with performance characteristics such as bottlenecks in technologies such as Kafka, Producers, or MongoDB
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and gather stakeholder requirements
