Tasks

• Work and lead collaboratively in cross-functional agile teams within a DevOps-focused culture.
• Actively engage in software engineering communities to share knowledge and assist colleagues.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend code according to guidelines and standards.
• Contributes to the development of other engineers in the team.
• Establishes requirements base-lines, obtains formal agreement to requirements, and ensures traceability to source.
• Uses appropriate modeling techniques following agreed software design standards, guidelines, patterns and methodology.

Requirements

• Pragmatic, proactive, and open-minded, possessing an entrepreneurial approach.
• Proven high experience in backend software engineering, especially with Java and Java Frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres), and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Avro.
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and comprehensive automated testing.
• Knowledge and practical experience with DevOps principles, including CI/CD and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in leading high-performing teams of software engineers.
• Proven experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and contributing to technological evolution.
• Effective communicator with very good English proficiency.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related fields, or relevant work experience.
