Tasks

• Manage a team of developers, coach and lead them.

Requirements

• Oversee and review technical and architectural designs, enforce architectural guidelines, and challenge the status quo.
• Stakeholder Management – Close collaboration with program stakeholders, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage IT deliveries. Single point of contact for product owners and business users.

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management

• Responsibility for identifying and managing risks and issues to ensure timely delivery of the required quality.
• Demonstrating appropriate values and behaviors, including, but not limited to, standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and prudence, fair treatment (equitable treatment of customers), conflict management, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Your profile

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Professional

• At least 15 years of experience in developing front-end applications, programming languages, and back-end queries.
• Well-organized and able to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects to meet key dependencies and overcome challenges.
• At least 5 years of experience as a team leader.

Technical

• Strong knowledge of Java, JBOSS, and Spring Boot, Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of computer science (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design).
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization, streaming with Kafka, Avro schema, and ReactJS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), Oracle, Postgres, etc.
• Practical knowledge of GITLAB repositories, Maven, Octopus, CI/CD pipeline.
• Exposure to cloud platforms would be beneficial.
• Basic Linux shell scripting, commands.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ, SonarQube/SonarLint.
