As a Java/C++ Software Developer (m/f/d) at Julius Baer, you will develop tools and applications to support the bank's sales and trading divisions. You will be responsible for the design and integration of solutions, the third level of support and communication with stakeholders.

- Development and integration of solutions to meet new business requirements

Requirements
Professional experience and skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in the development of banking applications, preferably in the retail sector
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming in Java and C++
- Practical experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, JMS, JPA, Maven, Octopus, Visual C++, QT and related utilities/libraries
- Experience in modeling relational databases, Oracle, Hibernate, JDBC
- Very good understanding of financial products, especially FX options and FX rates
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Experience in messaging (IBM MQ, Active MQ) and message formats (JSON, Thrift)
- Knowledge of financial market data and data feeds
- Experience with microservices platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts...)
Education and soft skills
- University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science
- Training in financial products
- Delivering reliable results under pressure and on time
- Professional communication with demanding stakeholders
- Flexible and goal-oriented work in a very dynamic environment
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Willingness to work in a small team
- English is required, German is an advantage
