Java/C++ Software Developer 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Design and integration of solutions to meet new business requirements
• Provision of third-level support and user training
• Communication with important business partners and IT stakeholders
• On-call service

Requirements

Professional experience and skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in the development of banking applications, preferably in the retail sector
• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming in Java and C++
• Practical experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, JMS, JPA, Maven, Octopus, Visual C++, QT and related utilities/libraries
• Experience in modeling relational databases, Oracle, Hibernate, JDBC
• Very good understanding of financial products, especially FX options and FX rates

Additional or preferred qualifications

• Experience in messaging (IBM MQ, Active MQ) and message formats (JSON, Thrift)
• Knowledge of financial market data and data feeds
• Experience with microservices platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts ...)

Education and soft skills

• University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science
• Training in financial products
• Delivering reliable results under pressure and on time
• Professional communication with demanding stakeholders
• Flexible and goal-oriented work in a very dynamic environment
• Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Willingness to work in a small team
• English is required, German is an advantage
