Java Tech Lead

Tasks

• Manage a team of designers, build and lead teams, and work with external vendors.
• Passionate about new technologies, building client-side scalability, applications, and content design.
• More than just experience in analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing complex and custom-built solutions.
• Work collaboratively with teams to achieve goals. Experience working with an Agile methodology or Agile roadmap.
• Data owner working closely with program backends, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery.
• A strong sense of critical thinking, as well as sound personal and business judgment.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that tasks and issues are identified and managed properly.
• Comply with and meet the relevant regulatory requirements.
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards regarding honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing and communication ethics, handling of reporting issues, customer service, compliance with rules of conduct, management of conflicts of interest, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of computer science, particularly in data structures and algorithms.
• Basic Linux shell scripting skills.
• Familiarity with tools, Docker/Docker Swarm.
• At least 10 years of development experience in front-end and back-end development, applications, programming languages, and back-end objectives.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage one's own workload, tasks, activities, and time commitments to meet the goals and deliverables of various challenges.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead or team lead.
• Ability to quickly understand requirements and deliver technical platform solutions.
• Proficient Java experience in financial trading—health performance domain.
• Communication is highly recommended, as the team is distributed.
• Understood business and system requirements and translated them into technical solutions that are scalable, testable, and in line with best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively.
• A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to solving problems and driving positive outcomes.
• Experienced professional, building and managing teams, giving presentations to senior management.
