Junior Private Banker

Tasks

  • Support the expansion of the private banking business by generating and pursuing leads with existing and potential clients, as well as assessing and fulfilling their overall banking, investment, and wealth planning needs.
  • Identifying and providing suitable banking products and services that demonstrate simplicity, leadership, knowledge, and experience, after conducting a thorough assessment and analysis of customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the investment and advisory team, product specialists, and other business units to maximize the client experience, foster trust and collaboration, identify synergies and referral opportunities, and maximize the depth of the product and service platform offered to current and potential clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations by consistently providing exceptional customer service in a professional, positive, thorough, and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude by providing customers with thoughtful and relevant information and insights.
  • Develop and maintain a disciplined approach to sound account management practices through regular account reviews.
  • Maintaining the necessary documentation for the book (W8, KYC updates, etc.).
  • Efficient management of customer communications, including business travel plans.
  • Identifying sources of potential customers, defining a methodology to maximize customer acquisition efforts.
  • Compliance with BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, and the Bank's BSA/AML policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with the principles, laws, rules, and regulations relating to anti-money laundering and banking secrecy, as well as Itau's corresponding policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • FINRA Series 7 required.
  • Proven knowledge of private banking investments, products, and services.
  • Outstanding sales and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
