Junior Compliance Officer – Market Abuse Monitoring Specialist

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Junior Compliance Officer as a Market Abuse Monitoring Specialist (40–60% part-time) in Zurich to support compliance with global market regulations and the monitoring of insider trading. The successful candidate should have an academic background in business administration, economics, mathematics, or law and possess strong analytical skills.

Tasks

The position of Junior Compliance Officer – Market Abuse Monitoring Specialist involves supporting insider trading monitoring and trade surveillance globally. - Collaborating with Global Compliance and key business units to promote compliance with global market regulations and robust best-execution practices within the Group - Continuously adapting frameworks to changing regulatory requirements to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across various jurisdictions

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, economics, mathematics, or (business) law - Professional experience in a banking environment is a plus - Strong analytical skills, common sense, the ability to work proactively and independently, and a deep sense of ownership and accountability - Good communication skills in German and English
