Job description: Junior Compliance Officer - Operational Compliance

Tasks

• Responsible for finalizing regulatory disclosure reports (short, substantive and underwriting) and Section 793 Company Act requests
• Staying up to date on relevant regulatory and legal requirements in relation to all relevant disclosure requirements
• Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in the disclosure system and reports and work with technology to implement solutions
• Assist in reviewing procedural documentation and global policies at least annually, identifying areas for improvement and proposing updates/changes
• Compliance support for other regional offices, including the US and Asia team
• Assisting in the delivery of the compliance monitoring program for members of the Operational Compliance team, including regulatory reporting (DFRMR and MFER), MiFIR trade reporting and CASS
• Preparation of compliance submissions for Man Group governance
• Opportunities to participate in a wider range of team activities as the role develops

Requirements

• Degree at diploma level or equivalent
• Experience in a compliance, reporting or regulatory operations role is desirable
• Previous experience in a regulated environment required
• A focused, proactive team player who is able to drive their own development
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with technical or detailed processes is an advantage, but not essential
