Junior Data Scientist (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Collaborating on the implementation of new technologies, the management of change initiatives, the development of predictive models, and the conduct of financial and economic analyses to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to conduct in-depth analyses and identify the best solutions by leveraging the latest technology and Compliance Analytics & Transformation’s in-house infrastructure
• Development, monitoring, and documentation of predictive models, taking into account industry best practices and a solid theoretical foundation
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop quantitative solutions using different analytical principles to optimize various banking processes
• Review and management of change requests submitted by the business
• Conducting regular and ad hoc analyses and reports

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
• 2–3 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on compliance, risk management, and legal affairs
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex solutions and data insights into a compelling narrative for the rest of the organization
• As an agile employee, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where things move quickly
• Proficiency in programming (e.g., in Python, R, Java, or C++)
• Experience in project management or business analysis
• Fluent in English (primary business language); knowledge of any other languages is a plus
