Junior Data Scientist (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Tasks

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Implementation of New Technologies
• Management of Change Initiatives
• Development of Predictive Models
• Conducting financial and economic analyses to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management
• Collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors to conduct analyses and identify best-in-class solutions
• Development and monitoring of predictive models, taking into account industry best practices and a solid theoretical foundation
• Collaboration with senior stakeholders to develop quantitative solutions
• Evaluation and Management of Change Requests
• Conducting regular and ad hoc analyses and reports

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) from a university of applied sciences
• 2–3 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on compliance, risk management, and legal affairs
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex solutions and data insights into a compelling narrative for the organization
• Ability to work in an agile environment where things change quickly
• Enthusiasm for using data and statistics to solve complex problems
• A curiosity to learn new things and to think outside the box in order to challenge the status quo
