Junior Forward-Deployed Engineer - Artificial Intelligence

Tasks

• Participation in the AI Hub within an Alpha office that drives the bank's AI investments and serves as a trusted bridge between the traditional and digital economies.
• Support in shaping the bank's collaboration with an emerging generation of AI-native customers.
• Built on the basis of foundation models such as OpenAI and Anthropic Claude.
• Transforming AI ideas into secure, reliable, and well-governed solutions in a regulated banking environment.
• Hands-on experience with emerging standards such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• An investigation into how AI agents are connected to internal banking systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Exploring the possibility of banks using their own AI agents.
• Close collaboration with the business unit: understanding real-world problems, rapid prototyping, and iteration with users until solutions deliver real value.

Requirements

• Internship, project work, or early professional experience in AI, machine learning, LLM applications, or data-driven product development.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, building agent-based workflows, and using MCP or similar tools.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, containerization, cloud platforms, or DevOps concepts.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools, as well as an understanding of how to use them responsibly.
• Product thinking and a commercial mindset—an eye for where AI creates value for customers and the business, not just where it’s technically interesting.
• Interest in financial services, digital assets, regulated environments, or secure software development.
