Tasks

• Gathering new requirements, designing innovative solutions and implementation
• Supporting the team in achieving the ambitions defined by the head of the C&E Software Solutions team
• Active participation and support in the regular review and improvement of team processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Continuous development and improvement of systems

Key tasks and responsibilities

Business Management

• Work on fulfilling the team's ambitions, as defined by the head of the C&E Software Solutions team
• Active participation and support in the regular review and improvement of team processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Continuous development and improvement of systems

Stakeholder management

• Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team
• Obtaining and discussing requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
• Regular updates for key stakeholders via the various channels used by the team

Change management

• Active participation and support in the planning of Program Increment (PI) within markets
• Support in planning change management and release rollout
• Provision of dedicated post-implementation support on site in Asia

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and conscientiousness, fair dealing (fair treatment of customers), management of conflicts of interest, ongoing professional development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Code quality and best practices

• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in compliance with industry standards, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)

Troubleshooting and support

• Diagnosis and resolution of first-line issues, provision of support for development and production environments

Professional and technical

• Solid practical knowledge of Java programming
• Core Java & related utilities/technologies, especially collections, JSON, JDBC, Maven
• Spring Framework including Spring Boot, JDBI templates and JPA, messaging and JMS
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Java generation servers and Java frameworks
