The Junior Non-Financial Risk Control Specialist supports the Consolidated Supervision team in the implementation of Global Minimum Standards and Controls in Switzerland and international locations. The position involves monitoring control processes, consolidating information and supporting the implementation of control systems.
Job description
Tasks
- Monitoring the implementation of the Global Minimum Standards (GMS) and Global Minimum Controls (GMC) in Switzerland and at international locations
- Consolidation of input from international locations regarding GMC applicability, implementation and results for presentations to relevant committees, stakeholders, risk type owners and senior management
- Drive regular control-related processes as part of the Operational Risk Framework (e.g. GMC reviews, design and operating effectiveness self-assessments)
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the internal control system (including drafting business requirements, participating in testing activities and conducting user training)
- Management of the GMC deviation and non-applicability workflow tool and associated processes
- Support with the introduction and implementation of the GMC in newly established or acquired units of the Group
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in economics, business administration or finance
- Ideally 3-5 years of professional experience in the private banking sector, preferably in the areas of compliance, risk, audit or controlling or with a management consulting firm
