The job of (Junior) Operations Specialist FXMM / PM & Treasury involves ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of daily activities in FX, Money Markets, Precious Metals and Treasury. The specialist will be required to balance accounts, prepare reports and perform control tasks on a daily basis.

Tasks
- Account reconciliation
- Identification and resolution of reconciliation issues in positions across multiple asset classes
- Daily reporting of cash holdings to Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Position Control
- Execution of control tasks according to the dual control principle, in accordance with defined standards
- Strict adherence to internal guidelines, policies and compliance requirements
- Demonstrate a high level of awareness of operational risks
- Carrying out regular checks and reporting incidents or system-related problems immediately
- Reliable support by responding to ad hoc requests and providing timely, accurate feedback
- Initiating and proposing improvement ideas to increase efficiency, quality and risk reduction
Requirements
- Successful completion of a banking apprenticeship or comparable vocational training (preferred)
- Consideration of lateral hires with proven experience in regulated or financial environments
- Previous experience in banking operations or a financial services environment is highly desirable
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Fluency in German and English (written and oral)
- High level of risk awareness, especially in connection with operational risks
- Reliable and accountable professional with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude
