Junior Payments Requirements Engineer

Job description

As a Requirements Engineer – Payments within the Core Banking team at IT Europe, you will play a key role in designing payment solutions for our customers. Your mission is to translate business requirements into efficient IT solutions using Temenos T24/Transact, with a focus on the T24 payments module. You will work with stakeholders and agile teams to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant payment processes across multiple systems.

Tasks

• Analyze and document functional specifications for the required solutions.
• Design, estimate, implement, and test IT solutions based on Temenos T24/Transact in collaboration with your Scrum team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in requirements analysis or business analysis.
• Practical experience with Temenos T24/Transact, ideally with the TPH payment module.
• Knowledge of European payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, TARGET2, TIPS) and ISO messaging standards.
• Familiarity with EU payment regulations (instant payments, verification of the payee, etc.) is a plus.

Education and skills

• Degree in computer science, banking, or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and contribute innovative ideas.
