Junior Quantitative Portfolio Manager

Your role

As a Junior Quantitative Portfolio Manager at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be a valuable member of the Systematic team, which aims to provide investors with robust, rule-based investment solutions grounded in solid research and delivered through disciplined systematic investment processes. In addition, you will make significant contributions to research and analysis, as well as to portfolio management and sales and marketing initiatives, supported by your current skills and your outstanding ability to learn.

Your tasks

• Management of systematic investment funds / mandates
• Contribution to research and strategy development, with a primary focus on equities
• Participation in marketing and sales initiatives: reporting, marketing materials, investment proposals, RFPs, etc.
• Development and improvement of the team's operational processes

Your profile

• Master's degree with a focus on finance and quantitative analysis
• 2–3 years of practical experience in portfolio management, risk management, or quantitative research
• Demonstrable interest in quantitative equities (commodities are also a plus)
• Strong IT skills, particularly coding skills (including Python and VBA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
• Action-oriented mindset and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
