Junior Receptionist

Alantra is seeking a Junior Receptionist for its London office to be responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating office operations, and managing the reception desk. The ideal candidate should have a professional demeanor, be a good communicator, and have experience working with office IT equipment.

Job description

Tasks

  • Provide a professional and warm welcome to all guests, customers, and visitors upon arrival
  • Notify the relevant staff of guests' arrival and manage all visitor registrations
  • Manage the preparation and service of refreshments and communicate with catering vendors as needed
  • Ensure that the reception area and meeting rooms are kept spotless, fully stocked with office supplies, and equipped with up-to-date marketing materials
  • Restock supplies in the staff kitchen, the breakout room, and the office supply cabinet daily, and assist the senior receptionist with placing orders when supplies need to be replenished
  • Maintain a neat display of current marketing brochures, newspapers, and relevant industry publications
  • Set up all audiovisual and video conferencing equipment for meetings; ensure that the right technology is available and working properly
  • Assist with managing the meeting room reservation system to ensure efficient use of the space
  • Assist the VM and the senior receptionist with ad hoc administrative or operational tasks
