Alantra is looking for a Junior Receptionist/ Front of House (London, UK) to act as the first point of contact for guests, clients and visitors and to perform organizational tasks in the office. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a professional appearance.
Job description
Junior Receptionist/ Front of House (London, UK)Tasks
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests, customers and visitors on arrival
- Promptly inform relevant staff of guest arrivals and manage all visitor check-ins
- Manage the preparation and service of refreshments and communicate with catering suppliers as required
- Ensure that the reception area and meeting rooms are immaculately maintained, fully stocked with office supplies and up to date with current marketing materials
- Replenish stock in the customer kitchen, break room and office supply cupboard on a daily basis and assist the Senior Receptionist in ordering supplies when stock needs to be replenished
- Maintain an organized display of current marketing brochures, newspapers and relevant industry publications
- Prepare all AV and video conferencing (VC) equipment for meetings; ensure that the correct technology is in place and functional in a timely manner
- Assist the UM and Senior Receptionist with any ad hoc admin or operations related tasks
Requirements
- Confident in using Outlook
- Personable and able to communicate clearly with different personalities
- Respond to urgent problems with initiative to solve the problem
- Practical experience with IT office equipment
- Understanding and respecting the importance of discretion within the role
- Extremely efficient and organized
- Professionally presented at all times
- Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- High quality customer service attitude
