Job description
We are looking for a Junior SAP PaPM Analyst (Full-time) in Madrid to support our Global MIS ROC program, with a focus on improving the automated processing of key business metrics such as AUM and NNM. As part of a dedicated development team, the successful candidate will assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of models within SAP Profitability and Performance Management (SAP PaPM).Tasks
- Support for the design, configuration, and maintenance of SAP PaPM models for AUM, NNM, and related KPIs
- Preparation and validation of source data inputs from various upstream systems, including the general ledger, trading platforms, and customer relationship management systems
- Support for end-to-end testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and month-end validation runs
- Perform regular reconciliations between SAP PaPM reports and source systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Documentation of model logic, data flows, assumptions, and test results in accordance with audit and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, IT, front office, and control functions to gather requirements and clarify business rules
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Experience with SAP environments—gained through coursework, internships, or previous project work—combined with a genuine interest in developing expertise in SAP PaPM
- Basic understanding of financial concepts such as AUM, NNM, revenue attribution, and management reporting cycles
- Practical experience working with structured datasets using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or database viewers
- Proven analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of German is a plus, but not essential
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A strong desire to advance one's career within a complex, regulated financial environment
