Man Group is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Engineer who can further develop their ServiceNow expertise and contribute to the optimization of the IT service management system. The new employee will configure, customize, and manage the ServiceNow platform.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior ServiceNow Engineer to join our IT team at Man Group. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your ServiceNow expertise while contributing to the optimization and improvement of our IT service management platform.

Key tasks

  • Support in the development, configuration, and administration of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on ITM models (incident, problem, change, and request management).
  • Assistance in creating and maintaining ServiceNow tools and workflows to optimize service delivery.
  • Configuration and customization of ServiceNow applications using client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other platform features.
  • Participation in the design and implementation of workflow automations using Flow Designer.
  • Support in resolving incidents and troubleshooting ServiceNow platform issues.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintenance of documentation for configurations, adjustments, and processes.
  • Participation in ServiceNow upgrades and testing activities.
  • Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives for ITM processes.

Required qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Basic knowledge of ServiceNow ITM models, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
  • Understanding of IT service management principles and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to connect with the team and develop technical skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in creating service catalog items and workflows.
  • Experience in creating client scripts, business rules, and UI policies.
  • Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs.
  • Experience with visualization/reporting.
  • Certification as a ServiceNow developer or application developer (CAD).
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar tools is a bonus.
