Junior Software Engineer, Custody Value Stream (80-100%)

About the role

The Custody Value Stream is a cross-functional team dedicated to the secure custody of digital assets. As part of a regulated digital asset bank, we are entrusted with the secure custody of client assets and prioritize security, compliance, and operational integrity.

Tasks

• Actively participate in the development of new features and enhancements by writing and reviewing high quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
• Continuously improving the quality and security of applications, identifying existing technical debt and planning measures to rectify it
• Responding quickly and efficiently to production incidents, working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
• Collaboration with platform engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes
• Collaboration with SRE engineers and solution architects to optimize application availability, resilience and observability

What makes you stand out

• Expertise in Java and/or TypeScript or similar ODP languages
• Experience in an industry such as banking or Quartzus
• Good knowledge of software security
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture
• Expertise in working with PostgreSQL
• Expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and implementation of complex functionalities with high quality and security
• Work experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
• Work experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with AWS is an advantage
